Designing and creating this report has provided us a unique opportunity to look back at the impressive work by our network of skilled researchers and community teams, and to celebrate the successes of our students, community members, and faculty along the way. It also demonstrates the ways in which we can continue in our goals to promote and nurture capacity for community generated health research among Indigenous peoples, communities, and institutions.
IPHRC is a collaborative network working to improve and strengthen the quality of Indigenous health research and the health of Indigenous people. In partnership with Indigenous communities, we are committed to transformative research that applies Indigenous knowledge and practices. This report is only one milestone in what we hope will be a long and bright future in Indigenous health research in this province and the country.
We hope you enjoy the report, and the stories within.
